Garden Furniture care

Thank you for purchasing your new garden furniture from Fishpools. How you care for your furniture can affect your guarantee, so it is important that you read this care advice below.

General Care

To help prolong the life of your new garden furniture, we recommend using a suitable outdoor furniture cover when not in use. The use of placements and coasters will help protect the surface and remember to mop up any spills immediately.
We recommend that you regularly check all fittings and re-tighten where necessary. When moving your furniture, it is always recommended that you lift, and not drag, as this can cause damage to the joints. Please remember to avoid sitting on the arms, or standing on your furniture.

Furniture Covers

We recommend using a suitable outdoor garden furniture cover to protect your furniture from weather damage, including rain, snow, and harmful UV rays, keeping it clean and free from dirt, dust and debris.
This protection helps preserve the materials, preventing premature ageing and extending the furniture's lifespan, ultimately reducing the need for frequent cleaning and maintenance.
Your outdoor furniture covers should be cleaned with mild soapy water and a soft sponge. Please allow the cover to dry before using it or storing it. Make sure you check your cover regularly for tears to ensure your furniture is properly protected. Covers must be fastened securely, especially in high winds.
