About Cattelan Italia
A passion for family, new ideas and raw materials has characterised the work of Mr Giorgio Cattelan, founder of Cattelan Italia, a leader in the production and distribution of furniture. The youngest of a seven-brother family and son of a famous carpenter in Thiene, a small village near Vicenza, Mr Giorgio Cattelan grew up with wood and the art of furniture creation.
Cattelan Italia was founded by Mr Giorgio and Mrs Silvia Cattelan. They started to introduce small items and marble tables in different sizes into the export market in 1979, before going on to improve their collection in 1989 with the offer of dining tables, chairs, bookcases, and other items. Their furniture is now made with a variety of materials such as wood, glass, metal, and leather, infused with taste, style and an important attention to detail.
