In 2022, Fishpools committed to Isabel’s Tonnes Of Care pledge to help donate 25,000 tonnes of saleable, unwanted goods by 2027.
This scheme protects the planet by reducing landfill levels and helps generate funds by stocking their 18 stores to facilitate Isabel’s support. One tonne of t-shirts could sell for over £2,000, which equates to over 77 hours of specialist nursing care!
Since taking on the pledge in 2022, our teams have donated over a tonne’s worth of goods. This equates to over 400 hours of patient care! We’re so proud to be involved with this excellent scheme and can’t wait for the next opportunity to contribute.
