As Fishpools, the South East’s premier destination for quality furniture, commemorates 125 years of exceptional service and style, we were thrilled to share an exciting collaboration with Charlene P from @at_the_willow_tree. Charlene, a visionary home décor and style content creator with over 420k followers on Instagram, joined forces with Fishpools for an exclusive project that captured the essence of luxury living.
A celebration of 125 years in business
The beginning of 2024 has been packed with exciting events and partnerships at Fishpools, all in celebration of our 125th anniversary. Earlier in March, we were delighted to host an incredible in-store event, attended by customers old and new, as well as the Mayor of the Borough of Broxbourne.
As part of these fantastic celebrations, Fishpools partnered with Charlene, renowned for her impeccable taste and design expertise, to design a living room display that reflected her unique style.
A tour of the showroom
Kicking off the collaboration in style, we invited Charlene down to our extensive showroom in Hertfordshire. Charlene’s connection to Fishpools runs deeper than just a collaborative project; it’s woven into the fabric of her own family history. Walking through the showroom stirred fond memories of childhood visits, similar to those her father shared with his own family growing up.
For decades, Fishpools has been more than just a furniture store; it’s been a place where families come together to explore, discover, and create cherished memories. Now, Charlene had the exciting opportunity to allow her childhood dreams to run wild as she was given a warm welcome by our team and taken on a tour of the showroom, showcasing some of Fishpools luxurious furniture, décor and accessories.
Selecting the perfect pieces
As Charlene perused our extensive showroom, she was able to hand-pick a selection of items that resonated with her discerning eye for detail and passion for exquisite design. Charlene chose to centre the room around a feature piece – the Marlon Chaise Sofa.
From here, Charlene looked to incorporate texture and warmth into the living room design, to achieve her own signature style. Favouring earthy and natural tones, Charlene chose to accentuate the feature sofa with the Bombay Round Coffee Table and the matching Bombay Console Table, Charlene choose to add subtle hints of colour through artwork, like the Celadon Framed Canvas and a selection of plants and floral arrangements.
The final result
After selecting the perfect items for her living room set up, it was time to head to the photography studio for a shoot day, where Charlene’s elegant style came to life.
A few final touches, like the Knot Gold Ornament Leaf Sculpture and the Annabelle Small Cream Cushion, and the beautiful Aurora Cliff Rug and the space was complete. Bright, warm and inviting, Charlene’s living room display offers a glimpse into the endless possibilities that await within our showroom walls.
